Shenandoah Iowa Education Foundation opens nominations for the Distinguished Alumni Award

The Shenandoah Iowa Education Foundation (SIEF) is pleased to announce that nominations are now being accepted for the Distinguished Alumni Award, an annual recognition honoring Shenandoah Community School District graduates who have demonstrated exceptional achievement, leadership, and service. Nominations will be accepted now through December 31st.
The Distinguished Alumni Award celebrates individuals whose accomplishments reflect positively on the Shenandoah community and inspire current students to pursue excellence in their own lives.
Selection Criteria
Nominees for the Distinguished Alumni Award must meet the following criteria:
Graduation Requirement: Candidates must have graduated from the Shenandoah Community School District at least ten years prior to nomination.
Service to Society: Candidates must have contributed to society in an exemplary manner.
Areas of Achievement: Candidates must have achieved outstanding success in one or more of the following areas:
The arts
Business
Community service
Humanitarian efforts
A profession
How to Nominate
Community members, educators, classmates, and friends are encouraged to nominate deserving alumni using one of the following methods:
